Textile insulation material for cable harnesses

It is important to protect cable harnesses in order to guarantee unimpaired functioning of electric and electronic components. Sophisticated technical textile combinations provide optimum protection and prevent malfunctions such as short circuits, cable fires and airbags being unnecessarily activated. The textile insulation material also has a noise attenuating effect, preventing knocking and creaking sounds.

The hi-procab range includes both textile laminates and products for other "problem spots". The protective foil shields sharp corners and edges in the engine and in wet areas, and the punched piece is used as an edge protector inside the vehicle. Protective tubes made of Kevlar are installed in high temperature zones. Special sleeves with velcro velours are used to bunch large-diameter cable harnesses.

All hi-procab constructions are subjected to complex approval tests and satisfy the strictest quality requirements as regards abrasion and heat resistance, noise attenuation, thickness, weight, flammability and resistance to rotting.
