Decorative fabric finishing
There is a wide range of finishing options available to functionalise the outer surface of decorative fabrics. They include the optimisation of the fabric's existing properties and the incorporation of specific new functions. The Hänsel system enables an individual combination of different options for customised finishing. The hi-modular system is a modular system which shows how flexible the product lines are and which product groups can be combined with each other, and the choices available are surprisingly extensive.
Technical textiles are selected for specific applications according to function. For example, the textiles and leather products used have to satisfy exacting requirements of stitch tear strength, composite adhesion and flammability.

LaminatesAdvanced laminating machines (flat-bed, felt and steel calendar) and the different coating machines are the "workhorses" in decorative fabric finishing. All kinds of substrates can be processed, from simple and non-sensitive substrates to very thick and pressure-sensitive ones. One of the following processes is selected, depending on the application and the customer's requirements: paste point, powder point, scatter coating, hot-melt rotary printing or laminating with the high-tech TecWeb adhesive.
